Who We Are?
Atul Jain, Advocate, Gold Medalist, is a first-generation lawyer practicing before the Supreme Court of India, the Delhi High Court, various District Courts, Fora & Tribunals. He is the Founder of Atul Jain and Associates, Advocates, a law firm known for its integrity, professionalism, and commitment to justice.
He holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.), a B.A. LL.B. (Gold Medalist) degree, a Post Graduate Diploma in Corporate Laws and Management from the Indian Law Institute, New Delhi, and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration (HR) from Symbiosis, Pune. He is presently pursuing his Ph.D. in Law.
He is the Author of the book Knot or Not – A Cultural, Legal and Emotional Guide to Hindu Marriage and Divorce, published by the highly reputed publisher Law & Justice Publishing Co. (Universal Law Group).
With over a decade of professional experience, Mr. Jain has handled a wide range of cases involving civil, criminal, constitutional, matrimonial, service, and commercial matters, regularly appearing before all judicial and quasi-judicial forums. His cases are frequently reported across leading national newspapers and media platforms for their legal significance and social impact. Besides individuals, he has also represented several reputed institutions including the State Bank of India, the Ramjas Foundation and prominent private schools of Delhi etc.
Beyond litigation, he is deeply involved in legal education and social service, having conducted training sessions for officers of the Delhi Police, judged moot court competitions at leading universities, and delivered lectures on “Law as a Career” at various educational institutions. He is widely recognized for taking up a substantial number of cases pro bono, reflecting his compassion for the underprivileged and his commitment to ensuring access to justice for all. His articles and opinions on significant legal and social issues have appeared in The Times of India, Hindustan, Navbharat Times, and other media, while his expert views are frequently featured on national television and radio.
For his outstanding contributions to the legal field and society, Mr. Jain has been conferred with some prestigious awards like “Nyay Ratna Vibhushan” and “Jain Samaj Ratna”. As a self-made and first-generation lawyer, he is admired for his public-spirited approach, dedication to young advocates, and belief that law must be simplified, humanized, and made accessible to every citizen.
